Despite very few bats seen these last 5 years in our area of Maine, our rocket box has at least 5 flying out each night the first full season up. We installed it on a new Barn last October but didn’t see any signs of inhabitation till this summer. We are near a lake so there is plenty for them to eat and we are happy they are plus it’s enjoyable to watch their nightly departures.

These are high quality and well made and are made to bat conservation specs! Exactly what I wanted! Great communication with seller when ordering! Highly recommend! I ordered the rocket style and also the large nursery /square style. I can't wait to get them installed.

I think it's been over 5 years since we put a large bat box with three chambers on the back of our barn. Most years we have bats, and we're glad to do anything I can to help them. The only thing I'm finding, and this has nothing to do with the box itself, is what happens when The babies fall out of the box which is happening with more frequency. Today I'm actually making a landing pad for them. If anyone else has this just you you can look it up online it's relatively easy to make. But again strongly recommend P&S country crafts bat boxes, truly well made It's been out for years but still looks like we just put it up.

The product is well made and is exactly what we were looking for. We had a small issue, and the customer service was great and quick to respond.

We’ve wanted to get a bat house for years, but didn’t know where to begin. I saw this listed as being certified BCI, and knew this was it. My husband and I bombarded Sue and Paul with a lot of questions, which they answered quickly and in depth. Next, we sent them a Google Maps picture of our property. They could see the structures on the property, and the location of each to woods or open sunlight. Paul told us the best house to get based on all the information he had, where to put it, and how high to put it. If you truly care about the health and wellbeing of bats you’ve come to the right place.

So happy with the quality of this bat house! I can tell it will last a long time and hopefully will provide a great home for bats! (I haven’t installed it yet). I called to ask a question and got quick, friendly and helpful advice.

This an update to my previous review. In under a year we’re now up to 175 bats and counting! We’re getting so much enjoyment at watching them emerge at dusk and coming in to roost at dawn. I attribute our success to the right box at the right location. We’ve seen bats over our property for years and knew of a colony near by that was at capacity. I’m so glad we invested in this bat house. We look forward to years of enjoyment and free pest control and fertilizer.

I spent a long time researching the best bat houses, and these appeared to be well made, and highly recommended by BCI and others in the bat conservation community. I purchased one to mount in our yard, but it arrived damaged - a small piece had broken off inside. I contacted P&S and within minutes Sue responded, letting me know that the piece was not critical and the house would still be fine, but that they would send a replacement anyway! I now have two bat houses that I will mount back-to-back. Our kids are very excited to have bats living in our yard.

The service at P&S is excellent, and the bat houses look great. I'd highly recommend this bat house to others.

After doing some research and with advice from Paul & Sue I purchased a BCI approved bathouse not knowing quite what to expect.
Let me tell you, forget what you see in the feed store, (yes, seriously don’t get those) this bathhouse is fantastic! Strong, well made with quality materials and appropriate for bats! It even has a shingled roof! It’s a proper bathouse!
